OK, so it's been a while. I'll start off by saying that everyone in the Household of the Great Oppressors is just fine... I am still in the prime of health after knee surgery two years ago. Check out my hotness.
Rocky is also well. He's not quite right in the head, but he's well.
Here he is in a rare moment of stillness.
As for the Great Oppressors, I blame them for this nearly two-year blogging hiatus. I won't bore you with the details, but let's just say they were a little stressed out there for a while. B got a new job. The nonprofit where J worked ran into a few minor funding glitches and fell apart from about April 2008-October 2008, at which point J got laid off. Do you remember the scene in the Blues Brothers where Jake and Elwood lead the cops on a high-speed chase through Chicago and then their car falls apart when they make it to the Cook County courthouse? It was kind of like that. Since this job stress corresponded with some other pleasant but completely unexpected news, I just haven't been able to think about my virtual presence much. You see, I've been too busy keeping an eye on things around here... Meet Wee-Man.
So far, he is pretty neat. Rocky and I both appreciate the fact that he has started on solid food since there's more detritus for us. I'm looking forward to keeping you appraised of how I keep B and J from screwing up parenthood too badly in addition to my usual reflections and ruminations. It feels good to be back.

Holy cow, Sid! There's a wee naked ape in your house! I hope you are taking full advantage of this stage when they are frequently caked with and/or dropping food! Well, congratulations on finding yourself a little pet of your own. Lovely!
And, yes, Boise State got humped by the BCS AGAIN. I will most definitely root for them against TCU. And had NU won they might have played BSU in a bowl game which would have been mucho fun!
Welcome back bud! (Are you a part of the DWB card exchange--I forgot to check?)
wally t.
Hey Wally,
Thanks! Wee-Man seems cool thus far, although Rocky and I anxiously await the introduction of Cheerios to his menu. But he likes walks, so that's good. The Great Oppressors are quite taken with him!
Sigh... BCS. Proof that the humans really aren't THAT evolved. An NU/BSU bowl game would have been something. One columnist referred to this year's Fiesta Bowl as Plessy v. Ferguson, which I thought was pretty great. Anyway, I bet your Hooskers will do some great things next year!
It's good to be back and sorry it's been so long. No DWB card exchange this year, but we still have your poem from 3 years ago! Would your address still be the same as then? I would love to send you a card... Hope you and the whole pack is well.
Hugs,
Sid the Dog
This is my dog breeds website. A lot of info about different dog breeds. Feel free to take a look.
I'm also proud with Rocky! You've been a great brother to him. Good job!
That's one lucky little hairless ape there. Nothing bad's going to happen to that kid with you standing by...!

Hey! Wee-Man seems kind of scary in one of the photos. Hope you doing great! Really thank you for such great info! I would want to know more regarding dogs chews. I do love pet doggies and I think it is great to have an adoption for dogs as well! Looking forward to it!
